CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

The school gives great importance to co-curricular activities of many kinds. Thus, we try to draw out the best in the student helping him/her to develop all the latent skills and talents.

GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING

Guidance and counselling facilities are offered to the students so that they can discuss their personal problems and receive guidance on how to face such problems. They can go through the process of helping individuals discover and develop their educational, vocational and psychological potentialities and thereby to achieve an optimal level of personal happiness and social usefulness.



DISIPLINE (ATTENDANCE, SINCERITY, BEHAVIOUR, VALUES)

Discipline significantly impacts career shaping and helps build character, sincerity, self-control, perseverance, good behaviour and values. Constitutional and universal values are also encouraged among students. Hygiene, sanitation, dedication, honesty, truthfulness, kindness, empathy, respect for the environment, elders and all living things etc. are that our students must actively practice. Class teacher will grade the students on a Five-point scale (A to E) keeping in view the overall attendance, sincerity, values and behaviour of the students.



NATIONAL CADET CORPS

Morning Star School strongly believes that education aims at creating a human resource of organized, trained and motivated youth to provide leadership in all walks of life. Keeping up the same, school started National Cadet Corps (NCC). This unit was inaugurated on 2017 by Col. Sheik Lal Mohammed. This commanding officer is from 31(TN) INDEP COY NCC Udhagamandalam. The National Cadet Corps is the Indian Military Organization which engages to groom the youth of the country. The students are given basic education of high level Military training. At school, comprising of about 50 cadets in two batches who are actively indulging in all NCC activities to make our school proud, and it also evoked much enthusiasm among the students.



AMENDMENTS OF RULES

The Principal / Management have the right to introduce, amend or change the rules and regulations whenever necessary in furtherance of the aims and objectives of the school.
